I’m excited to share my music with you and to see how you incorporate it into your creative projects.
Please read the following guidelines carefully to understand the terms under which you can use my music – sorry to get all boring and legal but I need to let you know what’s what!
Allowed Uses
- Non-Commercial Videos: You may use my music in your non-commercial videos, including but not limited to:
- YouTube videos
- Instagram reels
- TikToks
- Short films
- Remixes: You are welcome to remix my music. However, any use of the remix must also comply with the conditions outlined in this policy.
Attribution
Whenever you use my music, you must provide proper credit by linking back to my promo page at https://www.katywhitton.co.uk/DJKT
Restrictions
- Commercial Use: You are not allowed to use my music for commercial purposes without my explicit written permission. This includes but is not limited to:
- Selling the music or remixes
- Using the music in monetised content (excluding YouTube videos that have monetisation enabled) such as TV/Radio commercials, commercial productions etc.
- Attribution for Remixes: If you remix my music, you must credit me and link back to https://www.katywhitton.co.uk/DJKT account wherever the remix is used or shared.
- No Selling Remixes: Remixes of my music cannot be sold without my explicit written permission.
- Political Content: If you wish to use my music in any form of political content (whether it is monetised or not) you must contact me to ask for written permission. Political content includes by is not limited to campaign videos, rallies, conferences, YouTube and social media content
Right to Revoke
I reserve the right to revoke your permission to use my music at any time. If requested, you must promptly remove my music from your content and cease any future use.
